Former Morgantown Asst. City Manager passes away after battle with ALS

MORGANTOWN – Former Morgantown Assistant City Manager Angela Cline has passed away. According to her obituary, Cline passed away Monday at the age of 37 after a three-year battle with Amyortrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS.

Cline arrived in Morgantown in June 2017 after serving as the Citizen Outreach Specialist in Lakewood, Colorado. A Kansas native, she attended Kansas University for undergraduate and graduate school, and graduated with a master’s degree in public administration in 2007.

Cline stepped away from her role with the city in April 2018, shortly after learning of her ALS diagnosis.

She is survived by her husband Scott and their son, Patrick.
