Retired service dog found, police search for stolen car, suspect

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Multiple law enforcement agencies are searching for a suspect who fled the Sheetz on Mon Boulevard in a stolen car with a retired service dog in the backseat.

The suspect took a 2015 bright red Ford Focus while the owner was inside getting a cup of coffee. The car fled toward the I-79 interchange from the Sheetz and could have north or south on the interstate.

The license number of the bright red Ford Focus is Pennsylvania K G G 1497. If you see the car dial 911.

The dog is a 13-year-old Golden Retriever named Icon that requires medication.
