GREENWOOD, W.Va. – Catherine Mare Moore suffered what authorities are calling a “medical episode” and died at the North Central Regional Jail Thursday morning.
Moore is the third inmate to die there in the last four weeks.
Facility medical staff and EMS responded, Moore was pronounced dead at 6:30 a.m., she had been admitted to the jail at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16.
Director of Communications for the Department of Military Affairs and Public Safety, Lawrence Messina says the investigation will be complete following a review of the medical examnier’s report.
On June 30, Morgantown Motel shooting suspect Janson Davenport committed an apperent suicide and on July 8 Zachary Bailey died of a medical episode.
