MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A woman is accused of stabbing her daughter in Morgantown.
On Tuesday, at 9:04 p.m., Morgantown Police officers were dispatched to a stabbing report on Cobun Ave.
When police arrived, an adult female immediately admitted to stabbing her 17-year-old daughter. The child was transported to WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital for treatment.
The child is in the care of Child Protective Services, and the adult female has been charged with child abuse resulting in injury and malicious or unlawful assault.
No other information has been released.
