MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Night work operations on Brockway Avenue are planned next week and motorists should expect some delays, according to the state Department of Highways (DOH).
Mountaineer Contracting will conduct milling, paving, and shoulder work at night from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Monday, June 10.
Crews will be working from Spruce Street to Hartman Run Road through Thursday, August 15.
The traffic maintenance plan includes using flaggers to keep one lane of traffic moving through the project, but delays are expected.
DOH officials are asking motorists to plan ahead and allow additional time for travel.
Poor weather or conditions in the work area could extend the schedule.
