Michigan man sentenced in Monongalia County drug case

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Darius Dunbar, 25, of Southfield, Michigan, on of 17 drug suspects indicted by a federal grand jury last year will spend six months in federal prison for aiding and abetting drug distribution in Monongalia County.

The investigation was conducted by the Mon Metro Drug Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the U. S. Marshal Service. Dunbar told investigators he sold heroin in Monongalia County in July of 2017.

Dunbar is held in the North Central Regional Jail awaiting transfer to a federal facility.
