MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — An arraignment was scheduled Monday for the suspect in a Morgantown restaurant break-in.
Fidel Cortes Dela-Cruz, 39, a former worker at Los Mariachis on Van Voorhis Road, faces a breaking and entering charge after allegedly forcing his way into the business and making off with a safe.
Los Mariachis workers called police Friday, August 7, just before 11:00 a.m.
Morgantown detectives, working with the Guilford County, N.C. Sheriff’s Office, were able to relocate the safe and more than $18,000 in cash.
Delay- Cruz, who had no permanent address on record, was arrested without incident.
