ELKINS, W.Va. — Police in Randolph County have captured a suspect wanted in connection to a body located in downtown Elkins.
Derek Adamson was arrested Tuesday hours after a homicide was allegedly committed near the Elkins Railroad Depot at approximately 1 a.m., according to a release from Elkins Police Chief Craig Cross.
Adamson fled the scene in a car stolen from the parking lot of a nearby Go-Mart.

The lone victim has not yet been identified.
