Anmoore woman sentenced on bath salts charge

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Bath salts charges land a Harrison County woman in prison for more than 2 years.

Nioka Lynn Wriker, 34, pled guilty in November 2014 to one count of distribution of a controlled substance.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Greater Harrison County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force found the Anmoore woman sold bath salts known as “Power X Energy Soak” in Harrison County.

The bath salts contained a controlled substance known as “α-Pyrrolidinovalerophenone” or “α-PVP.”

U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley handed down a 33 month prison sentence in court Tuesday.
