Armstrong Hall reopens following Friday fire

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Following a fire Friday, June 17 fire Armstrong Hall on the West Virginia University Campus has reopened.

WVU executive director of communications, April Kaul said some clean up remains in areas of the building and some rooms, but the building has reopened.

The Morgantown Fire Department was assisted by volunteers from Granville to quickly attack the fire in the roof. No cause has been determined, but investigators have confirmed some construction was being done in the roof area at the time of the fire.
