Arrest made after firearm discharged into Philippi Sheetz

PHILIPPI, W.Va. A Bridgeport man is facing charges after allegedly firing a weapon into a Sheetz location in Philippi.

Early on Dec. 29, deputies from the Barbour County Sheriff’s Department were alerted to a shots fired call near the Sheetz.

Units were already in the area and were able to stop the lone vehicle left the area.

In the vehicle, deputies made contact with Cameron Oldaker, 21, who did have a.22 caliber weapon, and the casings from the scene were also .22 caliber.

Oldaker has been charged with wanton endangerment and is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
