Arrest made in Weston drug store robbery

WESTON, W.Va. – Deputies from the Lewis County Sheriff’s Department have made an arrest in connection with the robbery of the CVS store in Weston.

Deputies now believe Wayne Marple, 36, walked into the CVS on Court Avenue and told the clerk to empty the cash drawer or he would pull a gun Wednesday night.

Marple allegedly took $523 from the store and fled the scene.

Marple has been charged with robbery and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.
