Bank robbery suspect’s car identified; police still seeking help from public

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Local police still need help in locating a suspect wanted in a bank robbery.

Morgantown Police Chief Ed Preston said a male suspect is still wanted in connection to the robbery at United Bank in Sabraton last week, and the public can help by locating the suspect’s vehicle.

The suspect is believed to be driving a red or maroon 2012 to 2014 Dodge Avenger.

He’s believed to be in his mid 20’s to late 30’s and is 5’10” with a medium build. He was wearing a red toboggan, black and red flannel shirt, and blue jeans with dark colored gloves at the time of the robbery.
