MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. – The Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department reports a hiker found a body in the Coppers Rock State Forest over the weekend.
Saturday at 2:44 p.m. deputies confirmed the remains were human and they were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical
Examiner’s Office in Charleston for identification.
No other information has been released at this time.
