UPDATE: ‘All Clear’ issued following WVU bomb threat

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.– Officials a sweep of the Mineral Sciences Building has been completed and nothing was found.

The threat was received just after 12:30 p.m. and the area was cleared around 2 p.m.

The origin of the call is being investigated and officials said appropriate action will be taken.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Officials at West Virginia University have reported a bomb threat Tuesday.

The treat was directed at the Mineral Resources Building on the Evansdale campus.

All are asked to avoid the Mineral Resources and Engineering Sciences Buildings on Evansdale area of Campus. PRT service at the Engineering Station has also been stopped. The system will now bypass the Engineering Sciences Station.

Officers with the University Police Department are conducting a sweep of the building.
