Christmas Parade, downtown Morgantown traffic restrictions set for Monday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Downtown parking and traffic restrictions for Morgantown Christmas Parade begin at 5 p.m. on Monday, December 5.

Parade units will start lining up at 4:30 p.m. and the parade steps off at 6 p.m. from the intersection of N. High St. and Willey St., continue south on High Street to Foundry Street where the parade will disperse.

Prospect St., Price St., N. High St. and portions of Willey Street are staging areas for parade participants.

Traffic patterns will return to normal as soon as the parade ends at High and Foundry Streets.

Spectators are encouraged to get to downtown early to avoid traffic congestion.
