Clarksburg man facing federal weapon charges

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Harrison County native could face up to two decades in prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges in Federal Court on Thursday.

Darius Henning, 24, of Clarksburg, was found illegally in possession of a .45 caliber pistol in January 2015. He pled guilty to two charges–being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Henning was convicted of First Degree Robbery in 2011.

Each count carries the possibility of a ten-year sentence and a fine of up to $250,000.
