Clarksburg resident sentenced to more than six years for weapons violation

CLARKSBURG, W. Va. – A Clarksburg resident has been sentenced to more than six years in federal prison for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Previously convicted felon, Christopher Neal Boram, 38, convinced a female to purchase a psitol from a licensed firearms dealer in Morgantown. During a search of his hotel room police found controlled substnaces, the box the pisotl came in, another weapon and ammunition.

The investigation determined Boram sold the pistol purchased in Morgantown and two other weapons to another convicted felon.

Boram was sentenced to 80 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Thomas S. Kleeh.
