MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. – An unidentified male is being treated after falling approximately 20 feet after being electrocuted at the Federal #2 Mine Wednesday morning.
Deputies from the Monongalia County Sheriff’s Department responded at 10:50 a.m. and found the subject, who was transported to J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. His condition is not known.
Deputies believe the subject is not an employee or authorized to work on the site.
The incident remains under investigation.
