Detroit man admits to heroin charge

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – James Leon Fisher, 29, of Detroit, Michigan, pled guilty to heroin trafficking in federal court Wednesday according to United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II.

Fisher and 13 others conspired to transport heroin from Detroit to Morgantown.

Fisher sold heroin in December 2015 in Monongalia County.

He pled guilty to distribution of heroin. He faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1,000,000.
