PRESTON COUNTY, W.Va. Ditching and shoulder work on River Road in Preston County is expected to cause delays for the next several days.
Officials from the West Virginia Department of Highways (DOH) said WV 72, River Road, from the junction of County Route 51, Catherine Street, in Rowlesburg, to the junction of WV 7, Veteran’s Memorial Highway, will be restricted for work operations from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 9, 2023, through Friday, October 20, 2023.
Officials said flaggers will be used to maintain one lane of traffic through the work area during operations.
Allow extra time for travel in the area.
Poor weather or unanticipated conditions could extend the work schedule.
