DOH work expected to cause delays on Smithtown through next week

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. Delays are expected on Smithtown Road (County Road 73) when crews from the West Virginia Department of Highways work on the shoulder and ditches from Wednesday, Sept. 27 through Wednesday, Oct. 11.

From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., crews will be working from the junction of Grafton Road (U.S. 119) to the junction of Turkey Hollow Road near the Marion County line.

Officials said flaggers will be used to maintain one lane of traffic through the project.

Bad weather or unforeseen conditions could extend the work schedule.
