Domestic investigation leads to major drug seizure in Fairmont

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – An investigation into a domestic incident at a Fairmont hotel resulted in the discovery of more than three pounds of methamphetamine and a variety of other drugs.

Deputies from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department made contact with Tammy Knotts, 21, and Jesse Gober, 30, at the Quality Inn. Deputies said a search warrant was requested after deputies found fentanyl in Gober’s possession.

A search of the room uncovered more than three pounds of methamphetamine, 48 grams of fentanyl, five sets of scales, marijuana, hydrocodone, 3.7 ounces of cocaine, multiple firearms and paraphernalia.

Both have been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and are being held.
