Fairmont woman faces drug charges following traffic stop

FAIRMONT, W.Va. – An expired registration in Fairmont has resulted in a drug arrest, according to police in Fairmont.

Police stopped the car on Locust Street and made contact with passenger, Nadyia Sullivan, 35, who had drug paraphernalia in plain view.

During an interview with police Sullivan told police she had additional illegal drugs. When police searched Sullivan they found more than two grams of fentanyl in separate packages, $365 in currency, Xanax pills, 4 grams of methamphetamine and scales.

Sullivan is in the North Central Regional Jail charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
