Fireworks cause structure fire in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Morgantown firefighters were on the scene of a structure fire in the Sunnyside neighborhood for about 45 minutes on Wednesday. At 11:50 a.m. fire crews were dispatched to 584 First Street, Unit “C” for a small fire in the eave of the front porch.

Investigators say an accident involving fireworks caused the fire.

One person was trasported with non-life-threatening injuries. Damage was estimated at $500.
