Four search warrants yield drugs, cash and weapons in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – Multiple agencies from Harrison County put a crimp in the drug Tuesday after serving four search warrants in Clarksburg.

The Harrison County Violent Crimes and Drug Task Force, including officers from the West Virginia State Police, Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, and police officers from Clarksburg and Bridgeport, executed search warrants at locations on East View, S. Linden Ave., Brown St., and Hart St. in Clarksburg.

Police said four weapons, $7,950, 55 grams of marijuana, and 284 grams of methamphetamine were seized at the four locations.

Federal officials are also involved in the investigation.
