WESTOVER, W.Va. – Westover police have arrested a Granville man after he allegedly inappropriate contact with a ten-year-old girl.
A woman on Dunkard Avenue told police the young girl reported the incident to her and she called police.
Police say Jonathan Hunt, 64, was at the residence when the incident occurred. Hunt is a registered sex offender in the state of West Virginia.
Hunt was transported for treatment at Ruby Memorial Hospital for injuries he suffered before police arrived.
Hunt has been charged with first degree sexual abuse and is being held at the North Central Regional Jail.
