KINGWOOD, W.Va. – A Harrison County man faces up to five years in prison on drug charges.
Robert Michael Whitehair, of Clarksburg, pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to operate a methamphetamine lab.
Prosecutors said Whitehair and 3 co-defendants were arrested in a traffic stop after being accused of stealing from a Kingwood retailer. Police found pseudoephedrine and lithium batteries during the investigation.
They were all charged with operating a meth a lab and possession of precursors to meth lab.
Whitehair is scheduled for sentencing July 6.
Shane Grow, of Flemington, also pleaded guilty to one felony count of conspiracy to operate a methamphetamine lab.
He’s scheduled for sentencing in Preston County Circuit Court Tuesday. The charge carries a 1 – 5 year prison sentence.
Cases are pending against James Nice of Philippi and Donald Sullivan of Volga.
