Hot Spot robbery investigation

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Two suspects are wanted in an early Friday morning hot spot robbery in along Don Knotts Boulevard near Morgantown.

Two men armed with handguns entered Paula’s Hot Spot around 1:20 a.m. and approached the single female employee demanding money, according to Monongalia County Sheriff Perry Palmer. The suspects fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were also two customers in the hot spot during the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspects are described as white, fair skinned males. One has a heavier build, between 5-foot-10 and six feet tall.

The other suspect is described with a more slender build, also between 5-foot-10 and six feet tall.
