PRESTON COUNTY, W.Va. — West Virginia State Police in Kingwood are investigating the discovery of human remains.
According to Sgt. C. W. DeBerry, the remains have been sent to the Charleston for review by a medical examiner.
The investigation began overnight Monday.
The discovery was reportedly along Decker’s Creek in the western end of Preston County between Masontown and Sabraton.
No other information was available Tuesday morning. The investigation is ongoing.
