Identity released of body found in Mon river

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Investigators have positively identified the victim found in the Monongahela River last week.

Adrian Rawle’s body was found by fishermen March 9th in the water not far from the Walnut Street boat ramp.

Steep terrain along the riverbank forced Morgantown Fire Department to use a boat to recovery the 45-year-old’s body.

An autopsy will help determine the cause of death although Morgantown police don’t believe foul play was involved in the man’s death.
