CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A Pennsylvania woman has been charged after troopers with the West Virginia State Police confiscated a large amount of cash and marijuana during a traffic stop Tuesday.
Troopers stopped Elisabeth Szymczak while on routine patrol for an obstructed registration on I-79 in Harrison County and made contact with the driver, who did not have a driver’s license, and a passenger later identified as Elisabeth Szymczak.
While speaking with Szymczak, troopers learned there was marijuana in the car and conducted a search.
Troopers said a large amount of marijuana, a large amount of cash, and multiple cell phones were found in the car.
Szymczak has been charged with possession with intent to deliver and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
