Lewis County man charged in Weston fire

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Fire Marshall’s office has charged a Lewis County man with arson in connection with a bedroom blaze in Weston.

Reports indicate on August 8, Bradley Jason Young, 45, set a fire in a bedroom of the residence he was sharing with his girlfriend. A member of the neighborhood saw smoke coming from the mobile home and pulled Young from the fire.

The fire was contained to a small area in the bedroom.

Young refused treatment and was arrested at the scene for first degree arson. He is being held without bond in the Central Regional Jail.
