MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Two major traffic arteries will be shut down for an indefinite period of time due to unrelated incidents.
Fairchance Road between Goodwin Hill Road and Orchard Acres Drive is closed due to a tractor-trailer losing an unspecified load onto the roadway, according to MECCA 911.
Additionally, Cheat Road at Venture Drive is shut down. Power lines are down across all four lanes of the roadway in front of the Glenmark Center entrance, causing back-up all the back to the I-68 interchange.
MECCA 911 has asked commuters to avoid this area indefinitely.
