Masontown woman accused of domestic violence following VFW incident

MASONTOWN, W.Va. – Deputies in Preston County arrested one person following a reported domestic incident at the Masontown VFW on Wednesday.

Karen Sue Luzier, 61, allegedly grabbed her husband Daniel, Chief of the Masontown Volunteer Fire Department, around the neck and hit him in the face inside the establishment.

Witnesses also told deputies Karen Luzier grabbed her husband’s neck and hit him in the face.

Karen Luzier has been charged with domestic battery.

In August of this year, troopers from the West Virginia State Police were called to the Luzier’s home in Masontown to investigate a report that Daniel grabbed Karen’s shoulders, scratched her collarbone, and hit her in the cheek.

Daniel Luzier was charged with domestic battery in the August incident.
