MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — A Morgantown man that had been missing since the beginning of May was found in Mexico, the Morgantown Police Department announced Tuesday.
David Thompson, 23, was detained by Mexican authorities. He was reported missing on May 5.
Thompson is originally from California, according to Morgantown Chief of Police Ed Preston. Family members from the area called concerning Thompson’s whereabouts.
Thompson will be returned to his family “in the very near future,” Preston said.
