Mohigans, Hawks, & Warriors to host OVAC semifinal games

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Morgantown and University High will host semifinal games in the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference Boys’ Basketball Tournament.

The conference released the seedings for Wednesday morning. Morgantown, 13-0 on the season, is the top seed while University is second.

The Mohigans will play host to No. 4 Steubenville (OH) and University, 9-3 overall, is scheduled to face No. 3 Wheeling Park. The winners will meet in the OVAC Championship game Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at Ohio Eastern University in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Morgantown is the defending OVAC Champion. The Mohigans defeated Parkersburg South 73-38 in last year’s final.

In Class 1-A, Trinity Christian School, 10-4 this year, is the second seed and will host No. 3 Valley on Tuesday.
