Two face federal firearms charges

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – U.S. Attorney Bill Powell says Reynaldo Millan, 29, of Morgantown, has been indicted for firearms violations.

Court documents say Millan faces one count of possession of a firearm by a person under felony indictment. Millan was previously indictment in Monongalia County for being a user of controlled substances, and was discovered to have a .223/5.56mm rifle and a .38 caliber revolver in December 2018 in Monongalia County.

He could serve up to five years in prison and a face a fine of up to $250,000.

In another case, Brian Cutright, 40, of Morgantown, has been indicted for unlawful possession of firearms according to U.S. Attorney Bill Powell.

Cutright, prohibited from having a firearm because he is a user of controlled substances, is accused of having a .25 caliber pistol, a .45 caliber pistol, two .22 caliber rifles, a .40 S&W rifle, and two 12-guage shotguns in July 2018 in Monongalia County.

Cutright could serve up to 10 years in prison and face a $250,000 fine for each count.
