Morgantown faces drug charges after Barrackville traffic stop

BARRACKVILLE, W.Va. – A Morgantown man faces drug charges after a traffic stop by police in Barrackville.

Around 8 p.m. Friday police stopped Larry Johnson Jr., 30, for license plate light violation. When police made contact with Johnson they said he appeared to be very nervous and shaking.

After Johnson admitted to having a marijuana pipe in the car a canine search was requested.

During the search police recovered 20 grams of methamphetamine, scales, packaging material and $400.

Johnson has been charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
