MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Firefighters in Morgantown made quick of an electrical fire Monday afternoon in the 1200 block of Chalfant Lane.
First responders had to make forced entry and found fire throughout the two rear bedrooms. After the fire was extinguished work at the scene performed ventilation and overhaul of the area. Fire was also discovered ion the attic and was quickly extinguished.
The fire was brought under control within 26 minutes.
The fire caused an estimated damage of $100,000. No injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
