Police responded to a refusal to leave at Ruby Memorial Hospital Monday night at 8:16 p.m., where 45-year-old Wilbert William Vaughn III was said to be refusing to leave the premises after being discharged from the hospital.

According to a press release, Vaughn became “very upset” when police arrived, pulled out a pocket knife and pointed it at officers. He then reportedly told police, “I’m not leaving.”

After a brief stand-off, Vaughn dropped the knife and was placed under arrest.
