MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. – Morgantown resident, Brian Cutright, 39, is in the North Central Regional Jail after a pursuit with police trying serve him with an arrest warrant.
While attempting to serve a Wednesday on Montrose Avenue police spotted Cutright on a motorcycle going the opposite direction. When police attempted to stop Cutright he crashed the bike into the back of the police cruiser. Cutright tried to flee on foot after the collision but was quickly taken into custody.
Police found about one gram of methamphetamine while processing Cutright.
He has been charged with simple possession of a controlled substance and fleeinf from police in a vehicle.
