STAR CITY, W.Va. – According to police 23-year-old KC Kurbursky, 23, of Morgantown, attacked a man with a knife then resisted arrest and attacked EMS workers trying to help him.
Officials say Kurbursky was chasing another man on a bicycle, when police approached he was not cooperative and he appeared to be under the influence. Kurbursky struggled with officers until they fell to the ground rendering him unconscious.
The victim told police Kurbursky attacked him with a knife for no apparent reason. The victim had several cuts on his forearm.
Kurbursky has been charged with malicious assault, and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail.
