Morgantown man charged in three sexual assault incidents

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – A Morgantown man accused of sexually assaulting three women now faces multiple charges.

The first woman told detectives from the Morgantown Police Department, Tomiwa Afolabi, 35, sexually assaulted her Oct. 21 in a residence on McLane Avenue. The woman told police the Afolabi forced her to have sex after she had been drinking and was throwing up.

The same day, another woman reported being assaulted by Afolabi while she slept in her bedroom at a Morgantown residence.

On Dec. 4. another victim told WVU Police Afolabi assaulted her at WVU University Park West.

Afolabi was arrested after admitting to the attacks during an interview with police.

Afolabi has been charged with three counts of second-degree sexual assault and is being held in the North Central Regional Jail in lieu of a $60,000 bond.
