Morgantown man faces marijuana, weapons charges

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – An investigation into a domestic incident led to the arrest of a Morgantown man on drug charges.

When deputies arrived at the home Duane Janes, 57, people at the home told deputies Janes sells marijuana for a living and had drugs in a safe in the living room.

After obtaining a search warrant police found 100 grams of marijuana, 20 weapons, ammunition, scales and packaging materials.

Police say Janes is not allowed to legally posess weapons due to an aggravated assault charge in 1996.

Janes is being held in the North Central Regional Jail charged with possession with intent to deliver and a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
