Morgantown man facing decades on cocaine conviction

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Morgantown man has admitted to multiple charges involving guns and drugs.

Isaiah Davis, 26, of Morgantown, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine hydrochloride and one count of use of a firearm during and in relation to a drug offense.

Davis admitted to possessing and distributing cocaine in Monongalia County in October 2017.

Davis faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million for the drug conviction. He faces a minimum of five years in prison and up to $250,000 fine for the firearm conviction.

The case was brought as a part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program that has been historically successful in bringing together all levels of law enforcement to reduce violent crime, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Zelda E. Wesley prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
