Morgantown man sentenced for harboring fugitive

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. – A Morgantown man has been sentenced to 21 months for harboring and concealing a federal fugitive and making a false statement to a federal agent, according to acting US Attorney Randolph Bernard.

In August of 2020, Paul Chibuzo, 25, admitted to hiding Donquale Gray in Morgantown from March 1 through March 6, 2019. Gray was wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service on a felony charge. Chibuzo lied to authorities about speaking with Gray and knowing he was wanted in February 2019.

The Mon Metro Drug & Violent Crimes Task Force assisted in the investigation.
