Morgantown man sentenced on oxycodone charge

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — A Morgantown resident who sold prescription drugs near a Harrison County playground has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison.
Jerome Naquan Haynes pleaded guilty in July 2014 to aiding and abetting the distribution of oxycodone within 1,000 feet of a protected location.
The 35-year-old, originally of New York, sold oxycodone near Clarksburg City Park in North View in March 2014.
U.S. District Judge Irene M. Keeley sentenced Hanes to 121 months in prison. He will receive credit for time serviced since May 2014.
