Mountain Line Transit Authority Announces Easton Hill Route Changes

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Mountain Line Transit Authority will make several route adjustments as DOH construction at Easton Hill begins next week.

The Pink Line will travel Willey to the Mileground, but will then deviate by making a right on Hartman Run Road and traveling to Earl Core Road. It will stop at Goodwill.

That line will then wait for the Blue Line to transfer passengers who need to continue downtown.

The Blue Line will travel Rt. 7 and I-68 to Pierpont Centre. From there, it will go to Crestpoint, Canyon Road, and University High School.

On the return trip, the Blue Line will travel Canyon Road to Crestpoint to Pierpont to I-68 and stop in Sabraton to meet the Pink Line at Goodwill for passenger transfer.

The Blue Line will not service the depot.

The Transit Authority recommends public commuters use online tools such as the Live Twitter Tracker, the mobile application, or call 304-291-RIDE to help plan trips.

Additionally, the Authority wrote in a press release Thursday that due to the large changes in traffic patterns in the area, the plan may require alterations.
