New details released in Upshur County plane crash

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – New information from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reveals the plane crash in Buckhannon on Saturday involved an aircraft that was inbound from Pittsburgh.

Reports indicate the Cessna 210A was last seen around 5:31 p.m. near Clarksburg. The aircraft was registered to Buckhannon-based Coma Aviation and went down just short of the runway near Industrial Park and Hall Roads.

The pilot was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
